Jayati Talapatra My oldest surviving friend in Delhi. An LSR, XLRI alumni who will – like dogmatics – howls when she sees a tree fall. Through out my filmmaking journey she has been a rock solid support. I remember landing up at her home at odd hours, my skin burnt from traveling to strange lands. Every time. They’d be home cooked meal. Each ingredient carefully thought about. Where it was coming from. Why it was being put. She’d custom make dishes for ‘joshi’. With her, Ajeet and my god buddy, Leela, for me this city was never a lonely place. For that special friendship, salaam!
